This Zorro II card is the Hydra Systems AmigaNet Ethernet card, and was resold by GVP for a short time.
GVP stopped reselling the Hydra Ethernet products after it was discovered that the provided P2P file sharing software did not do data validation. Corrupted bits were were found in transferred files after extensive testing. GVP was unable to get it corrected in the P2P software. Modern TCP/IP stacks address this data integrity issue, and is therefore not a concern. The then-popular Novell Netware client also had no issues. This corruption issue was not a hardware (board) issue.
