Amiga Slow Down
 connects to: Side Expansion Slot

The Amiga Slow Down is a small device which is designed to be connection to the side expansion slot of the A500/+. It allows the user to slow down the Amiga and even bring it to a complete halt. The primary reason, is being able to cheat in games. The device contains a switch which has the options "STOP", "OFF" and "SPEED". When speed is selected, the user can control the speed of the Amiga using the potentiometer. The hardware works by generating a PWM (pulse width modulated) frequency which is fed to the HALT\ signal of the 68000. By adjusting the duty cycle of the PWM signal you can adjust the effective speed of the 68000.
