The timehopper is a rather unique board for the Amiga. Specifically designed for use with the A3000, it provides it with a level 2 cache. The card plugs into the CPU Fast slot so an accelerator can not be used in addition to the card. It was fitted with 32K of Cache by default but could be expanded up to 128K to provided up to a 50% increase in performance for memory accesses. The card could also be fitted with a 68882 FPU at up to 60Mhz.
