The E-Matrix 1230-50 and the Viper 1230 Mk-V are exactly the same device. It is an accelerator for the A1200 which plugs into the trapdoor slot. It includes a battery backed up clock, onboard SCSI-II controller (non DMA) and is PCMCIA friendly.
