Hi Res Version of Front
- 1979 x 1250, 244K
Hi Res Version of Back
- 1971 x 1229, 220K
Processor: EC030@40MHz
FPU: Optional 68882@40MHz (Some versions are PGA, others PLCC)
MMU: None
Max Ram: 32MB
Ram Type: 2 x GVP 64pin SIMM32 slots.

A 68030 accelerator which plugs into the trapdoor slot of the A1200. The GVP A1230 uses the custom 64pin GVP SIMM32s, which are not compatible with any other the other 64-pin or 72-pin SIMM format of the era.

This board was known internally as 'JAWS'.  BOM details from internal GVP documents can be found here: https://archive.org/details/gvp-jaws-bom

The boards generaly did not come with sockets for the CPU.  Therefore the common 68EC030 CPUs are not upgradable to a full MMU-capable CPU or a faster clocked chip.

The board generates a 64K PIC located at $0300.0000 in the expansion list via ROMTag for it's control registers.  The ROM also adds the software-detected 32-bit memory into the memory in the range of 0x0100.0000-0x02FF.FFFF.

The GVPCPUCtrl v1.19 tool provides kickstart remap when there is 512K of 32-bit RAM free starting at address 0x02F8.0000, which is at the top end of the lower 8MB of 32-bit RAM address space.  It also provides dynamic relocation of the system stack with the MoveSSP option.
