This Zorro II RAM expansion is the memory-only half of the GVP Series II SCSI+RAM family of products. Settings of 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8MB are available as AutoConfig memory. The first 2MB is provided by the DIP memory chips, and each additional 2MB is provided by 2x standard 1MBx8 (or x9) 30-pin SIMMs. 80ns memory parts or faster are suggested.
The 6MB setting incorporates a 4MB and a 2MB chained AutoConfig memory board configuration. Amiga OS 2.0 and later will automatically merge this memory as one contiguous chunk. Amiga OS 1.2/1.3 will need the OS MergeMem tool for this.
