To quote the famous song by Snap! "I got the power" - here's "I got THE Tower".

Today I picked up a Commodore Amiga 4000T..... And with a LOT of struggle I can now see the kickstart screen - but it won't boot with IDE HD's attached.

Any clues?

can it detect IDE drives at all if you boot from a WB diskette ?

HDD might not have it's boot flag set.

Boots now with other Amiga HDs - will try to put the original disk on another system and see if I can save it.

Ouch.. perhaps even try adding it as a disk on a PC and attach it to WinUAE.
I've made backups of drives doing that (much faster than doing it on the amiga)
