I got the following info from a german A4000T user:
"Peter Kittel (Commodore Germany) told me in an email from 1996, that only ~35 Machines got deliverd WORKING to customers, ~35 where NOT working. All in all only ~70 machines left Commodore for customers. That would explain why it is so hard to find somebody owning such a machine."
What's you take on that - is the numbers really that low?

Hi bitman AFAIK there are at least 250 unit worldwide. C= Germany got about 70 Units as Peter Kittel once mentioned. C= Switzerland got 12 working Units. I got one, but not a C= one. It is one of the first produced, assembled by Amiga Technologies. Markus Edited by user Thursday, January 2, 2014 3:01:15 PM(UTC)

So then I remembered the mail from Peter correctly.
70 units for Germany and only 35 working. That is anyhow a very low number and makes those machines worth alot.
I bought one new in 1995 and still own the machine and: I will NEVER sell it! ;)
