DESCRIPTION

NEXT is a fairly compact textreader, written in assembly.  Displays ASCII -
text in an own window on your WB.  Reads also binary files, XPK- und
powerpacked files.  AmigaGuide files can be converted to a readable plain
ASCII equivalent.

Extended functions exist for loading, analysing and printing texts, e.g.
scanning of directories with wildcards, print with page title and page
number, a 'smart_print' mode, word statistics and count of strings/chars. 
Search routines are very fast and display all occurrences at once on
screen.  Patterns can be used.  Search can also be started by klicking on a
string.  NEXT has been tested under OS 1.2 and 3.0.

    o decrunches powerpacked files without powerpacker.library

    o block marking with mouse
    o saving/printing of blocks
    o when saving to an existing file, text can be appended
    o reload function
    o multiple windows
    o window sizing by simple key press
