DESCRIPTION

   ARexxGuide is a complete ARexx reference with tutorials and
   examples. It is done in Commodore's AmigaGuide hypertext
   format, giving Amiga users one of the most extensive on-line
   help facilities available for REXX on any platform.

   A tutorial guides the new user line-by-line through the code
   of an ARexx program. Hypertext links in the explanations take
   the user back to complete descriptions of language elements
   and concepts.

   The major reference sections are:

   Basic Elements
      An explanation of important terms and concepts of the
      language, including tokens, expressions, and clauses. This
      section includes an extensive description of compound
      variables.

   Instructions
      Syntax and explanation, with examples, of keywords and
      instructions. This section includes a comprehensive
      explanation of the PARSE instruction.

   Functions
      Syntax and explanation, with examples, of all built-in
      functions and of the functions in rexxsupport.library.
      This section includes notes on file I/O functions.

   Operators
      Tables and explanations of operator tokens. Includes an
      interactive demonstration of comparison operators.

   Commands
      Syntax and explanations of the command utilities for
      ARexx, including RX and WaitForPort.

   The guide includes an index and comprehensive contents listing.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

   ARexxGuide requires either AmigaGuide or Multiview.
   AmigaGuide is a hypertext utility distributed by Commodore
   and available on Fish disk 870 or by anonymous ftp from
   Aminet as aguide34.lha in the directory util/rexx. Multiview
   is a utility included with the Release 3.0 OS.

   ARexx is needed to run the interactive examples included with
   the guide, but is not otherwise required.

   Download archive: ARexxGuide1_0.lha

   The archive contains 20 files that make up one AmigaGuide
   application. Several .rexx example scripts are included as
   well.

PRICE

   ARexxGuide is shareware and costs $15. A printed
   quick-reference is available for a total shareware fee of $21.

DISTRIBUTABILITY

   The files in the archive are copyright 1993, Robin Evans and
   may be distributed only in the original form.

   The archive may be distributed in its original form on any
   non-commercial media, on local and national computer
   networks, on Aminet distribution channels (including the
   Walnut Creek CD-ROM), and on the Fish Disks. Contact the
